Position Overview:

The Director, Production plays a key role in managing the setup, coordination, and delivery of digital and physical music releases across domestic and international markets. This position requires hands-on experience in music production and manufacturing, strong cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple releases and timelines with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Nashville, TN office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the setup and submission of digital and physical music releases worldwide.
  • Collect, validate, and manage release assets including metadata/label copy, artwork, and audio files.
  • Act as a primary point of contact with imprints, major distribution partners, mastering studios, print vendors, manufacturing plants, and internal affiliates.
  • Generate, communicate, and track production and release deadlines across all stakeholders.
  • Maintain and oversee the master release schedule, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts or delays.
  • Ensure all release materials meet technical, platform, and partner requirements.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in music production, label operations, or release management.
  • Strong knowledge of audio formats (HD/SD WAVs, DDP, Vinyl WAVs) and ISRC/UPC generation and usage.
  • Proven experience with physical music manufacturing, including CD and vinyl production, file maintenance, bills of materials, and artwork proofing.
  • Working knowledge of digital release requirements and platform display standards.
  • Familiarity with snippet and timecode requirements for social media and digital platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and releases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Passion for music, physical formats, and production workflows.
