Information Desk Operator

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Information Desk Operator for Telecommunications as a Full time job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Full Time, Night Shift (3rd)

This position is responsible for answering calls, inquiries, and maintaining records.

• Answering incoming calls and directs calls to the proper department; transfers calls; routes emergency calls.
• Places long distance and local calls as required.
• Pages appropriate personnel.
• Answers inquiries when possible.
• Assists in maintaining up-to-date listings and files.
  
  Maintaining records of station calls.

Required Skills and qualifications:

• High School Diploma (Equivalent)
• One year switchboard operator experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
