Description

$18 / hour, with $5 monthly cellular phone allowance. Approximately 20–25 hours per week. Work is typically performed when the mall is closed: early before opening, evening after closing, nights, and weekends as needed.

Basic Job Function

As a Cart Associate, you will prioritize cleaning and minor repair of carts, cart units, massage chairs, and strollers, including balancing and ensuring they remain in working order.

Essential

Job Responsibilities
  • Transfer carts from high‑return areas to high‑rental areas, ensuring equipment (including strollers and massage chairs) is available to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers.
  • Prioritize cleaning of all moving equipment.
  • Complete small minor repairs with hand tools.
  • Maintain effective communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management.
  • Learn and practice safe work habits to protect self, co‑workers, company property, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate skills in customer service, communication, and cleaning.
Physical Requirements
  • Minor lifting, possibly up to 40 lbs from waist to height.
  • Push and pull 75–100 pounds to move up to 15 carts simultaneously.
  • Walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
