Role OverviewAs a Dockhand, you will be responsible for welcoming boaters & customers to the Nashville Riverfront, ensuring smooth dock operations, an efficient boarding process, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position offers flexible part‑time opportunities that require weekends and/or weekdays. It is a seasonal job with overtime hours available during the summer season and reduced hours during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards.
- Check‑In Process: Assist guests with check‑in using handheld devices, verify waivers, and check IDs (TABC certification required; bartending or bouncer experience is a plus).
- Guest Support: Anticipate and address guest needs to ensure top‑tier customer service.
- Dock Operations: Assist the captain and crew with docking, disembarking passengers, and vessel turnover.
- Marina Coordination: Help recreational boaters with docking locations using the DOCKWA app.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the dock remains clean by removing waste and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Communication & Safety: Maintain clear and professional communication with the customer service and management team while adhering to company policies.
Work outside in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
