Customer Success Specialist

We are seeking a driven and experienced Customer Success Specialist to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment in the building materials industry. This role will serve as a key point of contact for customers while also providing leadership and support to the customer service team. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of customer service expertise, operational coordination, and leadership capability.

• Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
• Lead and support day-to-day customer service operations, setting the tone for a high-performance team
• Manage and drive counter sales of construction materials, including bricks and masonry products
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in scheduling
• Partner closely with the outside sales team to ensure alignment and seamless customer experience
• Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues with professionalism and urgency
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures
• Provide guidance and support to team members; step in to assist where needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and overall team success

• High School Diploma required
• 3+ years of customer service or inside sales experience (building materials or industrial environment preferred)
• Proven ability to lead or mentor others in a team setting
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Highly adaptable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
• Experience with Oracle systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
