Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel Dentist to provide high-quality dental care across multiple established dental practices throughout the Nashville, Tennessee area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys variety, working with different dental teams, and providing exceptional patient care in multiple practice environments. The Travel Dentist will rotate among participating practices based on scheduling and business needs while maintaining a consistent commitment to clinical excellence, patient experience, and practice standards.

Participating Practice Locations

The Travel Dentist may provide coverage at the following Nashville-area practices:

  • Bivens Dentistry – Tennessee
  • Dental Haus Germantown – Tennessee
  • Dentistry of Nashville – Tennessee
  • East Hills Dental Center – Tennessee
  • Gulch Dental Studios – Tennessee
  • Mt. View Family Dentistry – Tennessee
  • Rachel Johnson & Associates – Tennessee
  • Schmidle Family Dentistry – Tennessee
  • Tate Eble DDS – Tennessee

Assignments may vary based on practice needs, provider availability, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients across multiple practice locations.
  • Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide preventive, restorative, and general dentistry services within the dentist's scope of practice.
  • Educate patients regarding oral health, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
  • Collaborate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, office managers, and other practice team members.
  • Follow established clinical, compliance, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
  • Adapt efficiently to different practice environments, workflows, technologies, and team structures.
  • Maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with practice leadership regarding patient care, scheduling, and clinical needs.
  • Support practices during periods of increased patient volume, provider vacation, leave coverage, or other staffing needs.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (
    DDS
    ) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (
    DMD
    ) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Current and unrestricted Tennessee dental license.
  • Current DEA registration, if applicable to the position.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently while integrating effectively into different dental teams.
  • Ability to travel between assigned Nashville-area practice locations.

A successful Travel Dentist should be comfortable stepping into an established practice, learning the practice's workflow, and immediately contributing to patient care without compromising clinical quality or the patient experience.
