Position Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Lead Project Architect to join their Nashville office. The successful candidate will lead project teams in the development and delivery process, interacting closely with clients, governing agencies, and stakeholders. From conceptualization to construction, the Lead Project Architect will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of various public/government building projects throughout the Southeast and Midwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preliminary investigations, studies, and conceptual designs for diverse public/government building types and facilities.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout all phases of development.
  • Prepare Revit and CAD production drawings, coordinating with technical staff and subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Edit specifications for new and existing projects.
  • Act as a Client Partner for select clientele, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
  • Present to various groups on topics such as public engagement, design charrettes, and project progress.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master of Architecture or equivalent First Professional Degree.
  • Licensed Professional Architect in at least one US state, or eligibility for licensure.
  • NCARB certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in public sector projects (e.g., DoD, recreational, education, multi-family, governmental, and health care).
  • Willingness to conduct on-site inspections independently.
