OTE $100K+ (Base + Commission)
We are a design-build architectural signage company expanding our way finding and environmental graphics division.
We’re looking for a client-facing Project Designer who can lead design strategy and manage projects from concept through installation.
This role blends design leadership with project ownership. You will guide developers, architects, and owners through way finding systems, branded signage programs, and implementation — supported internally by a Designer Assistant and Project Coordinator.
This is not a production-only role. This is ownership.
What You’ll Do- Lead way finding strategy and sign system development
- Present design concepts confidently to clients
- Manage scope, schedule, and client communication
- Oversee code compliance (ADA and life safety)
- Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams
- Identify opportunities to expand design scope
- Strong architectural design sensibility
- Experience in way finding, signage, or environmental graphics preferred
- Comfortable leading client conversations
- Organized, proactive, and commercially aware
- Adobe Illustrator proficiency (CAD knowledge a plus)
- Understanding of materials and fabrication methods
- Competitive base salary
- Commission tied to project revenue
- On-Target Earnings: $100K+
