Videography Associates
Internship Description / Learning Objectives: The chosen associates will learn Videography which involves capturing moving images on electronic media and includes streaming media. It encompasses both video production and postproduction methods. They will also write/develop a script, use cameras, engage in social emotional workshops which cover job readiness, job retention, conflict resolution, anger management, mindfulness, financial literacy, and communication/public speaking communication.
The associates will also engage in fitness activities and college tours.

Competencies:
Strong interest in learning videography, using cameras, developing a story about themselves.
Work Schedule Days and
Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Dress Code: T-shirts, sneakers, scandals, jeans, warmups, comfortable clothes.
Travel Required: None
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 5, 10, 15 pounds.
Working Conditions: In doors
The full program is June 1st – July 17th.
June 1st – June 3rd: Interns attend assigned worksite for scheduled times.
June 4th: POWER Youth Summit at Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport.
June 5th – July 17th: Team Members on site at their agencies on Monday-Friday at the time scheduled by employer. You will be scheduled to work 4 hours daily which equals 20 hours per week.
July 13th – July 17th: POWER Youth Summer Employment Program – End of Summer Celebration – Team Members can showcase their projects from the summer.
If you are selected as an Experience Work Team Member, you will make $12.00 an hour and receive a summer program with project-based employment for youth ages 14
-15. Experience Work projects can be focused on the arts, leadership skills or community development. In addition, you will learn “work ready” skills for future employment. There are opportunities to intern in many areas of Nashville, so please select the opportunity based on your access to transportation.
