Farris Concepts in Architecture is a custom high-end residential architecture firm, looking to add an experienced draftsman.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Draftsman located in Nashville, TN. The architectural draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation, collaborating with architects and engineers to develop designs, and assisting in project planning. The role may also involve reviewing plans for compliance with building codes and regulations, ensuring design accuracy, and maintaining project timelines.
Qualifications- 1+ years of professional experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in creating construction level architectural drawings, with attention to detail
- Kowledge and understanding of architecture principles and planning processes
- Strong skills in technical drawing and design interpretation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and collaborative skill
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or similar field
