Interior Design Assistant

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports RH Interior Design by assisting with project workflows and delivering an elevated client experience. They collaborate with designers on consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and deliveries. The role requires strong organization, design aptitude, technical software familiarity and polished client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury client experience and represent the RH lifestyle through professional communication and appearance
• Qualify and educate potential design clients about RH Interior Design services
• Support all phases of the design process including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery coordination
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating design concepts, space planning and product selections
• Provide product expertise and assist in maintaining visual and quality standards within the gallery
• Collaborate with designers, vendors and internal teams to ensure project timelines and client needs are met

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience with in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Hands-on interior installation experience and ability to travel locally or out of state preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong organizational skills, strategic agility, collaborative mindset and excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs., and licensed to drive preferred
