Bra Designer

Role Purpose

This is an on-site role based in Nashville, TN. Travel to Global Headquarters in Bowling Green, KY required as part of on-boarding.

The Bra Designer creates commercially viable, consumer-driven bra designs that strengthen brand identity, meet seasonal development milestones, and deliver product solutions aligned to fit, construction, quality, cost, and margin expectations. This role translates trend, consumer, and business insights into successful product concepts and partners cross-functionally to move ideas from design through adoption and customer presentation.

• Delivers bra concepts, silhouettes, CADs, line drawings, and prototypes that reflect brand strategy, consumer needs, fit expectations, and seasonal assortment direction.
• Translates trend, marketplace, and consumer insights into designs that strengthen brand relevance and support commercial growth.
• Creates product solutions that balance comfort, support, aesthetics, wearability, and consumer value.

• Selects fabrics, components, pad constructions, and molding solutions that achieve the desired user experience while supporting target cost, quality, and margin goals.
• Partners with Product Engineering and suppliers to evaluate construction options, resolve feasibility concerns, and protect design intent.
• Makes informed trade-off recommendations that support consumer appeal, manufacturability, and profitability.

• Moves design work through the seasonal product development calendar with timely decisions, accurate technical direction, and clear communication to cross-functional partners.
• Completes design deliverables, sample reviews, revisions, and presentation materials on schedule to support line development milestones.
• Anticipates issues that may impact timing, quality, or adoption and proactively escalates solutions.

• Partners with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Engineering, Mold Technicians, Fabric Development, suppliers, and customers to refine designs, support assortment decisions, and drive successful product adoption.
• Communicates design intent clearly through sketches, CADs, tech packs, sample feedback, and presentation materials.
• Incorporates stakeholder feedback while maintaining alignment to brand direction, consumer needs, and business priorities.

• Maintains strong category expertise through competitive shopping, marketplace research, best-seller analysis, and trend translation that informs new style creation and current style evolution.
• Identifies opportunities to refresh existing products, introduce new solutions, and address emerging consumer preferences.
• Shares relevant trend and competitive insights that help shape seasonal design direction and assortment strategy.

• Improves and follows design and development processes that enable efficient seasonal execution, accurate technical handoffs, and consistent product outcomes.

• Designs with the end consumer, internal customers, and external customers in mind, using feedback and marketplace insight to shape product decisions.

• Prioritizes work, takes initiative, and drives timely completion of design deliverables that support business, assortment, and customer commitments.

• Uses facts, category knowledge, fit evaluation, construction expertise, and cost considerations to solve design challenges and make sound product recommendations.
