Youth Director

West End Community Church ( (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ), a welcoming, relational Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) congregation near downtown Nashville, is seeking an experienced, vision-minded full-time Youth Director who is able to lead and equip a strong volunteer team to embrace the next generation of disciples. The Youth Director’s responsibilities are three-fold:

• Provide long-term vision implementation and leadership for a sustainable youth ministry that develops youth into lifelong disciples of Jesus.
• Lead and shepherd a team of youth ministry staff and volunteer staff to thrive, and grow the youth ministry using their unique God-given talents.
• Understand the importance of whole family discipleship.

Qualifications for this position include the ability to actively engage students through teaching, the value of Scripture, the ability to engage with families, excellent communication and relational skills, and proven ability to effectively build a ministry structure with a particular focus on high school ministry.
