Lipscomb Academy's Academic Support Program is looking for qualified and experienced tutors to provide in-person tutoring to students. Opportunities are available for all subjects and grade levels.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and/or small group instruction
* Contribute to student learning, growth, and advancement
* Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques
* Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice
* Facilitate problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
* Collaborate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff to increase student performance
* Ability to interact positively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
* Manage student records electronically
* Maintain confidentiality of student records
