Adjunct Faculty - Art Therapy

Teach Art Therapy courses as needed during the academic year.

Education:

Master's degree in Art Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field required. A terminal degree and/or ATR-BC/licensure is preferred.

Experience:

Professional experience in art therapy or related clinical practice required. Teaching experience, particularly at the university level, is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

* Hands-on experience with Blackboard or Canvas (or comparable LMS) and familiarity with digital tools relevant to teaching.

* Technologically adept and comfortable integrating media into instruction.

* Self-motivated, reliable, and responsible.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop and adapt curriculum for Art Therapy courses as needed.

* Create and evaluate assignments in a timely fashion, providing constructive feedback.

* Attend department orientations and trainings as required.

* Support students in connecting studio practice with therapeutic theory and application.

* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Department Chair.
