Genesys Works is a national leader in providing pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. Currently in 8 cities across the country, we are expanding to Nashville in 2026, and we’re looking for a Program Coordinator to help train and support this site’s young professionals and supervisor. A few months later—because of your mentorship, coaching, and encouragement—that same student is confidently navigating a professional workplace, applying to college, and imagining a future filled with possibility.
As the Program Coordinator, you will:Build Strong Relationships & Support Your Cohort
Mentor students through one‑on‑one coaching, consistent communication, and goal setting to support long‑term success.
Collaborate with corporate partners, supervisors, and school personnel to ensure strong internship experiences and timely problem‑solving.
Facilitate Training & Ongoing DevelopmentLead weekly student meetings on career exploration, college readiness, and life skills.
Teach the eight‑week Summer Training professional skills curriculum and provide clear, actionable performance feedback.
Coach Students & Workplace SupervisorsMonitor workplace performance and conduct regular evaluations.
Coach students on balancing school, work, and life, and guide supervisors in delivering high‑quality internship experiences.
Manage Program Data & RecordsTrack metrics, benchmarks, and progress data across training, internships, and college/career milestones.
Document interactions with students and partners to ensure alignment and program success.
Support Recruitment & Sitewide InitiativesRecruit students through school visits and presentations and participate in all phases of the selection process.
Contribute to broader initiatives, including communications, fundraising, client recruitment, curriculum enhancement, and alumni programming.

As the Program Coordinator, you will need the following to be successful:Commitment to youth development and belief that all students can achieve their full potential.
Ability to relate to and work with diverse students, corporate partners, teachers, and school administrators.
Strong facilitation presence and comfort leading groups of varied sizes.
Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—across audiences.
Strong accountability for student success and personal performance.
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
Problem‑solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to student or partner needs.
Confidence using Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
