Job OverviewEpiscopal School of Nashville is seeking an exceptional Kindergarten Lead Teacher for the 2026-27 academic school year and beyond. The position is full-time and offers generous benefits and competitive pay.
Responsibilities- Teach and support 5- and 6‑year‑old students with diverse learning needs and abilities in a play‑based classroom.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families, both orally and in writing.
- Collaborate with the Early Childhood team to support each other and collaborate on curriculum development, ensuring appropriate vertical alignment and consistency.
- Maintain a student‑centered approach and a positive, collaborative culture.
- Participate in interdisciplinary projects and innovative pedagogy.
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Early Childhood Education.
At least three years of full‑time Early Childhood teaching experience and experience in play‑based curriculum development.
Master’s degree preferred.
Comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance learning.
