We are looking for a birthday party coach with an athletic or coaching background to deliver the Kid Strong birthday curriculum. The role involves coaching children on brain, physical, and character development during scheduled birthday parties typically held on weekends from 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm and 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm. Additional hours may be available through camps and regular Kid Strong Class coaching, which may require further training.
CoachResponsibilities
- Lead parties of up to 25 children
- Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by our HQ programming team
- Welcome students and parents upon arrival
- Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
- Keep accurate attendance records at all times
- Ensure cleanliness of the center (lobby, bathrooms, floors, equipment) and sanitize mats at shift end
- Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide attendance/award records
- Communicate professionally with co‑workers via Slack and other company messaging
- Complete required training through Learn Upon as directed by the HQ Training and Certification team
- Work in a physically intensive environment, covering multiple miles during a shift and moving up to 25‑lb equipment
- Work hands‑on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety
- Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by the Kid Strong Director
- Obtain party‑certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team
- Supervise, ensure safety, and implement the program for all children in the party
- Passion for working with children (non‑negotiable)
- Prior coaching experience with appropriate Kid Strong age group preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred
- CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self‑starter who can get a job done
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
