Nashville's leading commercial art school, Nossi College of Art and Design, is looking for energetic and qualified adjunct faculty members for our Bachelor's in Photography program.
We are currently reviewing resumes for part‑time Photography Instructors who will teach a variety of specialties on campus. The course design includes professional lighting techniques on location and in our studios. Experience with Paul C. Buff (Alien Bees & Einstein), Godox, and Profoto is critical.
Applicants should possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to communicate effectively with students to help them achieve their educational goals. They must be able to work collegially in a team environment.
Classes meet once a week for four hours. Sessions begin at 8 am, 1 pm, or 6 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Studio hours are 8 am‑10 pm Monday‑Thursday and 9 am‑4 pm Friday.
We are a commercial bachelor's degree program located in Nashville, TN. Candidates should hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in photography or a closely related field and have at least five years of professional experience. Specialization is important so students can learn best practices. All courses meet once a week for 4 hours.
The curriculum is laid out week‑by‑week in our education portal, Moodle. All grading is done electronically. Quizzes are embedded in the portal and graded automatically, so your out‑of‑classroom commitment is limited.

Our 13‑year‑old facility was designed with faculty input to benefit students. We have three photography studios ranging from 2161 sq ft with a cyc wall to 636 sq ft. Extensive lighting equipment is available for student use from Paul C. Buff to Profoto.
This is a campus‑based position in Nashville, TN.
Position ConceptThe ideal candidate encourages, motivates, and coaches college students. The Instructor/Faculty is the mainstay of the academic program and a master teacher in their subject area. The Instructor must be an effective classroom manager, adaptable to a variety of situations, and able to relate well to students, other faculty members, and college administration.
The Instructor must also believe in and follow the philosophy of the College and agree to support College policies and procedures.
Classes meet once per week over 15 weeks.
