Thrive Education Partners is seeking an experienced ISEE test preparation tutor to provide individualized support to students preparing for the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE)
The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, engaging educator who can strengthen students' verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and essay-writing skills. The tutor should be able to identify individual areas of need, teach effective test-taking strategies, and develop a structured preparation plan that builds both skill and confidence.
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in education, English, mathematics, or a related field is preferred
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience
- Direct experience preparing students for the ISEE or comparable standardized admissions assessments
- Strong proficiency in both verbal and quantitative content
- Knowledge of ISEE question formats, timing, scoring, and test-taking strategies
- Ability to analyze practice-test results and individualize instruction
- Strong communication, organization, and progress-monitoring skills
- Dependable, collaborative, and professional
$50-$80 per hour
