Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPosition purpose:
Briefly describe the primary purpose of this position. This should require no more than one or two sentences.
Job functions:
- Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester.
- Create syllabus and timeline of classes, for students per semester.
- Provide meeting time for students.
- Manage online grading system.
- Submit book orders, if textbooks required.
- Abide by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies.

- Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of the programs and services offered by Belmont University.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Terminal degree required in counseling or related field
Preferred RequiredRequired Experience
Teaching and clinical experience preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
