City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group academic tutoring to students
• Support teachers with classroom activities and positive learning environments
• Mentor students to build social-emotional skills and positive behaviors
• Assist with attendance initiatives and student engagement efforts
• Plan and lead after-school or enrichment programs
• Participate in school-wide events and service projects
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff
• Track and report student progress and intervention data
• Engage in ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development
• Model City Year's values of service, equity, and inclusion
