- Assist the Director of Clinical Education in completing job duties
- Serve on the Program's Clinical Education Committee
- Develop and deliver distance education and onsite lab immersive learning experiences
- Develop and deliver traditional and nontraditional assessments of student performance
- Maintain current records of student participation and grades
- Provide timely academic performance feedback to students
- Review student and faculty course evaluations
- Schedule and conduct faculty team post-course analysis meetings
- Ensure teaching and education responsibilities comply with accreditation policies and procedures
- Engage in scholarly work contributing to the profession in accordance with CAPTE guidelines
- Participate in department, school, institution, and professional service activities, including committees, task forces, and leadership roles
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, an academic doctorate in Physical Therapy, or an academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc) in a related field
- ABPTS Board certification in Neurologic Care
- Active Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure or COMPACT privileges, in the State of Tennessee
- Prior experience teaching in a CAPTE accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program
- Minimum of three years of full-time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical practice
- Understanding of higher education and contemporary clinical practice appropriate for leadership in physical therapy education
- Able to travel overnight or for extended periods to Nashville for lab and student events
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and working in an inclusive team environment
- Knowledge of CAPTE accreditation standards
- Evidence of an active research and scholarly agenda
- Strong organizational and technology skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing assignments, multiple priorities, and deadlines
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and demonstrated commitment to improving access and success for underrepresented students in higher education
- Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and project management
- Commitment to interdisciplinary education in health sciences
- Involvement as a member of a national/international professional association related to the discipline

Demonstrates expertise in Physical Therapy education, including a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and ABPTS Board certification in Neurologic Care. Proven ability to develop and deliver educational programs, assessments, and maintain compliance with CAPTE accreditation standards.
