AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

• Active Tennessee teaching certification/licensure appropriate for DHH services
• Knowledge of Deaf and Hard of Hearing educational practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students from a variety of age groups, collaborate with supportive educational teams, and play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and socially.

Up to $55/hour based on experience Full-time and part-time opportunities available School-based setting Immediate openings available

Serve students ranging from

Pre-K through age 20 Travel between multiple school locations within the district Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Support students with communication, academic achievement, and access to curriculum Join a district that values student success and inclusive education

Provide specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Assist students in reaching educational and communication goals Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, therapists, and families Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet individual student needs Support classroom inclusion and accessibility Participate in student progress meetings and educational planning

Up to $55/hour based on experience Up to $2,062 gross per week
