Special Education Teacher in Nashville, TN

• Valid Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification required
• Experience serving elementary-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of inclusion, push-in, and pull-out instructional models
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

• Provide targeted instruction and support to students within inclusion, push-in, or pull-out settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and other specialists to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor academic and behavioral progress, adjusting approaches as needed
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging classroom environment for all students
• Maintain documentation and work in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
