Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support assigned areas of automotive glass fabrication
• Manage process-related tooling and preparation for production runs
• Troubleshoot line operations, equipment, and process issues
• Create, issue, and revise drawings and process sheets tied to continuous improvement efforts
• Develop and implement scrap reduction, yield improvement, throughput, and dimensional capability initiatives
• Verify component conformance to customer specifications and quality standards
• Analyze weekly production data and implement corrective actions
• Partner with operators to reduce defects and improve efficiency
• Train operators on safe and effective operation of plant equipment

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or glass preferred)

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
• Experience with SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, and Pareto techniques
• PLC experience/exposure
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works preferred)
• Factor Talk Exposure Prefferred
• Hands-on problem solving approach
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication across all levels
