Our client, a global manufacturer, is hiring a full-time Automation Specialist & Project Manager to lead process automation and robotics initiatives across several manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, program, and implement automation and robotics systems for manufacturing processes.
- Lead technical execution of automation projects from concept through commissioning and startup.
- Develop control architectures, specifications, and documentation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automated systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, integrators, vendors, and plant teams.
- Support standardization, training and knowledge transfer across sites.
- 6+ years of experience delivering process automation projects in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, and industrial networks.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (mostly local)
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Our client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas at this time.
- Base salary in the $125k-135k range
