Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Systems Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists
A U.S.
-based manufacturer in the clean energy sector recently launched two new product lines. Assembly is scaling rapidly.
We’re hiring a Senior Engineer to improve the performance of one line, both mechanically and electrically, while contributing to product evolution, equipment ramp-up, and long-term design-for-manufacture. This role combines hands‑on industrial engineering with electrical system design and validation. It’s not for generalists, it’s for someone who goes deep on both sides.
Responsibilities- Own one high-volume assembly line end-to-end
- Reduce cycle time, rebalance workstations, and increase capacity
- Lead time studies, layout optimization, and process definition
- Provide input to maintenance planning and reliability tooling (CMMS, PMs)
- Support new facility launch
- Design and validate low/medium-voltage AC/DC electrical systems
- Draft wiring diagrams and layout schematics
- Perform electrical load and arc-flash analysis
- Support quoting, prototyping, and integration testing
- Align with safety and compliance standards (UL, NEC, IEEE, etc.)
- 4-year Engineering Degree (Industrial, mechanical, or Electrical)
- 5+ years in engineering roles, process, manufacturing, or systems
- 2+ years of experience in power equipment, control panels, or similar hardware
- On-site availability (Tennessee-based) for operations-facing engineers
- Clear, measured impact on:
- Throughput or uptime
- Scrap, labor cost, or downtime
- Continuous improvement (lean tools, cycle times, standard work)
- Strong technical grounding in:
- Electrical systems and schematics
- NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, UL/CSA compliance
- Arc-flash or load studies
- Tools:
AutoCAD, Excel, Office suite - Solid Works and schematic capture tools (Altium, PADS, etc.)
- Dual scope. You’ll work on both the physical line and the product that runs through it
- No rotation. You stay with your line you improve it over time
- Direct exposure. You report to leadership, not through layers
- High-growth context. This business is expanding fast, with lines, teams, and facilities
Relocation or Onsite Required. If you're focused on the manufacturing / sustaining side, this is an on‑site role in Tennessee, with no hybrid option. Engineers focused exclusively on electrical systems may be considered for hybrid, but on‑site is strongly preferred.
Equal Opportunity StatementThinking of Applying? If you’ve improved a production line and understand how electrical systems come together, this role was written for you.
