Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage the lifecycle of complex solutions for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) systems. The ideal candidate will deliver concurrent projects and building/system designs such as robotics and conveyance systems, resolve complex system problems, and generate integrated solutions to address technical deficiencies. You will also support others as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MHE domains and actively participate in the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) process.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of complex solutions for MHE systems.
  • Deliver concurrent projects and building/system designs (e.g., robotics and conveyance systems).
  • Resolve complex system problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Generate integrated solutions to resolve technical deficiencies.
  • Support others as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MHE domains.
  • Actively participate in the DMAIC process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing complex project life cycles.
  • Proficiency in resolving complex system problems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge in automation, conveyor systems, and robotics.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Smartsheet programs.
  • Experience with automation solutions such as conveyors, sorters, and robotic work cells.
Work Environment

The role requires 50-80% travel and offers flexibility to work out of major hubs including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Arlington, Austin, Bellevue, Boston, Nashville, NYC, Seattle, Houston, and Phoenix.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
