Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to design approval.
• Serve as primary technical contact with suppliers and hand‑off approved designs to Ops Engineering for installation, commissioning, and launch.
• Support Ops team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of the system.
• Execute projects ranging from green‑field, brown‑field, retrofits, to highly automated fulfillment centers, cross‑dock facilities, reverse logistics, transportation centers, and specialty buildings.
• Work on template‑based and designed‑from‑scratch projects in a fast‑paced and often ambiguous environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering.
• Experience managing engineering design projects.

• Master's degree in Engineering (any domain) or related field.
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high‑speed manufacturing.
• Experience with design‑in‑safety and lean process design.

The base salary range for this position is USA, TN, Nashville: $94,300 - $160,000 USD annually
; USA, WA, Bellevue: $99,300 - $160,000 USD annually
. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
