Civil Engineer PE (Project Engineer)
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer PE to join our Cincinnati, OH office and take on challenging site development and redevelopment projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile initiatives that shape communities and deliver innovative civil engineering solutions. You will oversee the design and coordination of large‑scale multi‑family residential, retail, corporate, and industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing technical documentation, and driving projects to successful completion with precision and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in civil engineering and a proven track record of handling complex projects from start to finish.
- Work with a Project Manager to assist with the completion of construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects.
- Prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients.
- Lead the design effort of public infrastructure roads, sidewalks, stormwater, and utility improvements.
- Lead the design effort of subdivision master plans, grading plans, and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments.
- Work with municipalities on necessary permits.
- Manage project delivery for site development or redevelopment.
- Ohio‑licensed (PE) or PE‑candidate Civil Engineer with 5 or more years of experience in land and site development.
- Experience in the Civil / Land Development sector with single‑site and municipal‑type projects, and the development of construction documents for public sector clients.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station (considered an asset).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work well with team members as well as project stakeholders.

Benefits& Compensation
Arcadis offers benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program, wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, and tuition reimbursement. Nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO accrue per year. Salary range is $90,000 – $132,000; actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, and location.
