Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Client Growth
- Lead execution of the Tennessee market growth strategy
, with focus on Nashville and surrounding areas - Develop and maintain key client relationships across industrial, manufacturing, and commercial sectors
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
- Identify, pursue, and position Verdantas for opportunities in:
- Regulatory compliance
- Environmental due diligence
- Emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS)
- Site civil engineering
- Partner with Area Leadership to execute target account strategies and go-to-market initiatives
Project Management & Delivery
- Serve as Project Manager for environmental consulting projects, including:
- Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Site investigation and remediation
- Regulatory compliance and permitting
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communication
- Deliver high-quality, defensible technical work products consistent with Verdantas standards
Field Operations & Execution
- Perform and support fieldwork activities including site visits, assessments, and data collection
- Coordinate with technical staff and subcontractors to execute field programs
- Support the development and scaling of local operational capabilities within the Tennessee market
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements
Client & Program Leadership
- Serve as the primary client point of contact
- Translate client needs into multi-project programs and repeat business opportunities
- Manage and expand key account relationships across multiple sites and service lines
Regional Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with technical subject matter experts on complex project delivery
- Support team development
, including mentoring junior staff and assisting with strategic hiring - Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture aligned with Verdantas values
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
- 8-12+ years of experience in environmental consulting
- Demonstrated success in project management and business development
- Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and site assessment processes
- Experience managing client relationships and revenue generation
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and regional travel within Tennessee
- Professional certification (e.g., PG, PE) preferred

Work Environment & Expectations
- Hybrid work model including office, client sites, and field locations
- Active participation in field operations and site work as required
- Travel within Tennessee to support project delivery and client development
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description
