Job Summary
Salas O'Brien is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a unique co-located design team supporting the development of a world-class, net-zero corporate headquarters for a leading technology company in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities- Develop electrical system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
- Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of electrical systems for hospitality, science and technology, and commercial projects
- Coordinate design with owner requirements, architectural design, and other specialty consultants
- Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Writing/editing project specifications
- Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
- Properly apply applicable code requirements to each project
- Coordinating work with other disciplines
- Providing construction administration services
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fundamentals-in-Engineering Certification (FE)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is beneficial
- 3 – 5 years of electrical design experience
- LEED or similar sustainable design certification / experience
- Knowledge in the design of power distribution, fire alarm, data & communication, lighting, and emergency power systems
- Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Experience working with a multi-discipline team
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and MS Office
