Amazon is seeking an Operations Engineer to support the Process Engineering team. This individual will own a process/product roadmap and ensure delivery to the vision of the next generation of AMZL delivery stations. This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazon’s growth to drive end‑to‑end product delivery from inception to execution. We are looking for a hands‑on leader with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.
To be successful you will need to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Worldwide Engineering and Design, WW Tech SME, Last‑Mile Delivery and Tech as well as Operations and Safety to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity, and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery stations.
- Initiate, define, plan, and manage the roll out of product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.
- Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech, and Operations to build impactful products.
- Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
- Lead execution of the product with a high level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.
- Present concepts, designs, program updates, and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of the project roadmap. Own part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
- Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
- 25% travel based on business needs.
- 3+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go‑live phases.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level.
- Knowledge of performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality.
- Experience working with and managing third‑party vendors.
- Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments.
- Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
