Overview

Responsibilities- Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.
- Lead the Project Team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor.
- Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Collaborate with resource managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team.
- Manage resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements.
- Manage subcontractors to deliver high quality deliverables and installation on schedule.
- Manage the timely resolution of issues, including escalation of issues outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility.
- Continuously identify and proactively manage project risks & opportunities, ensuring execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
- Coordinate and direct project closure to the customer.
- Prepare and deliver final project closure and documentation to customers and ensure final payment.
- Maintain project change order / issue logs.
- Monitor the project and report the project status to leadership on a regular basis.
- Review and approve all team project submittals.
This position reports to the Senior Project Manager.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or an equivalent engineering discipline. Master’s degree desired. Bachelor’s. Degree in Finance or Business is also acceptable.
- Minimum of four years’ work experience in managing BMS, HVAC, Industrial Controls / Automation, or similar discipline projects.
- Microsoft Project (or similar); experience with Smartsheets a plus.
- Previous work experience as a lead automation/controls engineer desired.
- Previous experience in the commercial office and manufacturing market desired.
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric's Eco Struxure BAS solution desired.
- Must be able to travel 15%.
