Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the healthcare sector to join our Nashville office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, particularly in building construction for healthcare facilities, and experience managing complex projects. This role involves project management, client interaction, and business development, making it an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the growth of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage complex electrical systems for healthcare and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize Revit and other design tools to develop and document electrical systems for building construction.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal MEP/FP teams to meet client objectives and project deadlines.
- Participate in business development efforts, including identifying prospective clients and contributing to proposal development.
- Communicate effectively with architects, owners, and contractors to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Take on leadership roles within the team, fostering growth and development for junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience with complex building electrical systems in the healthcare and commercial sectors.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), with a Tennessee P.E. license or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel (10-15%).
