3 Key Consulting is recruiting a Lead Electrical Engineer for our direct client, a leading global automotive manufacturing and services company.
Job Description:We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (EE). The Electrical Engineering position researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. The Lead Electrical Engineer will be a part of our client's Corporate Engineering function, otherwise known as Process Systems Development (PSD). A Lead Professional position is a recognized subject matter expert in a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Requires periodic communication and interaction with leadership. The ideal candidate will be located in Nashville, TN. However, the client is open to the right individual working remotely within a 1 hour drive of their Aiken, SC plant or their Wilson, NC plant. Travel requirements are project dependent and vary from 40-65%.
- Lead large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager.

- Coach, review and delegate work to lower level professionals.
- Assist in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities.
- Identify continuous improvement/automation activities.
- Design and install/implement electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant Experience in Ladder Logic, Safety PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Experience in Allen Bradley software Studio/RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, and RSLinx Classic/OEM.
- Supports continuous improvement/automation activities.
- Determines method of research for the planning, design development and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant Experience in Ladder Logic, Safety PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Experience in Allen Bradley software Studio/RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, and RSLinx Classic/OEM.
- MUST HAVE A BSEE DEGREE
Experience in Manufacturing or the Automotive Industry is a plus also Project Management experience.
