We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Designer to join our engineering and product development team. This role is responsible for creating 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, and designing mechanical components for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autodesk Inventor, Vault Professional, and design for manufacturability (DFM) processes. This role requires collaboration with production teams, BOM management, and participation in design reviews.

• Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Design mechanical components for machining, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and welding.
• Create and manage BOMs for product assemblies.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to refine designs for fabrication and assembly.
• Maintain CAD files and documentation using Vault Professional (PDM).
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback on engineering drawings.
• Occasionally visit customer sites for project-related travel.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor & Vault Professional.
• Experience in machining, sheet metal, welding, CNC design.
• Strong 2D engineering drawing and BOM management skills.
• Preferred:
  Experience in food manufacturing equipment and structural FEA software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  Occasional customer site visits
• Work Environment:
  Office setting with some production floor exposure.
