We are seeking a Senior Transit & Multimodal Civil Engineer with expertise in PS&E development, Civil 3D design, and multimodal infrastructure to support high-impact transportation projects. This role focuses on transit, complete streets, and site/civil engineering design across public-sector projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design of transit infrastructure, multimodal corridors, and site/civil projects (BRT, bus corridors, complete streets, transit centers)
- Develop and review PS&E packages, construction documents, and engineering plans
- Apply Civil 3D for grading, drainage, alignments, corridors, and plan production
- Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, and transit agencies
- Integrate multimodal design (pedestrian, bicycle, ADA accessibility, transit operations)
- Support QA/QC, permitting, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Assist with proposals, business development, and client engagement
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license. 7 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
