Staff Geotechnical Engineer – Nashville, Tennessee
Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking a Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities- Direct and execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory services.
- Provide project‑level development of proposals and reports and ensure client commitments are met.
- Field and laboratory sampling and testing.
- Oversight and testing on Geotechnical projects during Design and Construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering required.
- Strong background in soil mechanics with extensive knowledge of Geotechnical analysis and laboratory testing of soil.
- Capability to conduct and supervise field exploration activities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record required.
- Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
- Geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
- Experience in Geotechnical report preparation and development of appropriate recommendations highly preferred.
- E.I.T. strongly preferred.
