Job Summary: ICT is looking for a personable experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a multi‑disciplined design team! The position will be within our Nashville office, assisting in Commercial and Federal projects. This individual must be very familiar with state‑of‑the‑art design and various state and local regulations. If you think this might be a good fit for you, keep reading and apply!

General Duties:

• Supervise projects to ensure they meet commitments related to time, quality, and communication. Work directly with clients to establish project schedules and set expectations.
• Assist market segment manager and team leader in manpower projections and scheduling of work.
• Manage, direct and supervise mechanical engineering staff in the execution of specific projects to meet schedules and timely completion of projects. Schedule and lead mechanical production staff meetings.
• Assist team leader in annual reviews of mechanical staff.
• Assist market segment manager and team leader in maintaining and developing client base through various business development efforts.
• Assist market segment manager and team leader in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc.
• Visit construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
• Check all technical work for accuracy.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of an experienced team.
• Take an active lead in proposal for work process. Identify prospective clients and work in conjunction with team leader to establish relationships with those clients.
• Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs.

Skills:

• 7+ years of design/engineering consulting experience.
• Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus.
• Be responsible for the total mechanical systems design for specific projects.

Qualifications:

• P.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
