Estimator Nuclear / Heavy Industrial | Oak Ridge, TN (On-Site) | Direct Hire

A mission-driven organization supporting national security and clean-energy advancement is hiring an Estimator to develop accurate, defensible cost estimates that drive planning and execution across high-impact, highly regulated programs.

• Build cost estimates across the full lifecycle, AACE Class 5 (conceptual) through Class 1 (definitive)
• Translate estimate plans into detailed project budgets spanning engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations
• Partner with Project Controls to keep cost, schedule, and risk aligned
• Support budget baselining, change-order assessment, contingency planning, and claims/forensic cost review
• Maintain and improve estimating standards, procedures, and tools

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Finance, Business, or related field
• Hands-on estimating experience in heavy industrial, EPC, or similar environments — nuclear or defense-program experience strongly preferred
• Experience developing estimates aligned to AACE cost classes
• Comfort with estimating software (specific tools can be trained);
  Primavera P6 familiarity a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills

This role requires a DOE Q clearance, active, previously held, or the ability to obtain one (U.S. citizenship required). An active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance is also relevant.
