Senior Transportation Engineer

• Serve as lead technical expert in detailed development of urban roadway design projects.
• Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems.
• Provide technical leadership in a specialized area, resolving complex problems.
• Assume project management duties and client interaction.
• Supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• MSCE
• Experience with Micro Station, InRoads, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams.
• Project management skills desirable.
• Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignment preparation, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans.
• Experience coordinating survey, grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout (a plus).
