Instrument Controls Designer | Refinery / Industrial Projects
Are you experienced in instrumentation design and passionate about creating safe, reliable control system solutions?
We are looking for an Instrument Controls Designer to support major industrial projects by developing detailed engineering design packages for refinery and heavy industrial environments.
NB: 12-month contract (can be extended)
What you’ll be responsible for:- Creating instrument construction packages and technical documentation
- Developing panel layouts, termination drawings, loop diagrams, and instrument indexes
- Supporting cable tray, fiber, and routing designs
- Assisting with PLC and SIS design documentation
- Performing field walkdowns and verifying designs onsite
- Leading drawing package reviews and supporting engineering teams
- 5+ years of instrumentation/control design experience
- Minimum 3 years within refinery or heavy industrial environments
- Experience with instrumentation drawings and control systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across disciplines
