Department Manager – Civil/Site Land Development (822)
Lead and grow a Civil/Site engineering department as a Department Manager – Civil/Site Land Development, overseeing site development projects and providing technical leadership. This is across grading, stormwater, hydrology, and land development design. Drive long‑range planning, staff development, and operational excellence while ensuring high‑quality technical outputs and profitable project delivery.
The job- As a Department Manager, you will lead and grow a Civil/Site engineering team, providing technical direction, staff development, and long‑range planning to strengthen the discipline and deliver high‑quality site development projects.
- Guide project delivery across grading, stormwater, hydrology, land development, and site engineering, ensuring technical excellence, QA/QC, and compliance with local regulations.
- Support business development by building client relationships, contributing to marketing strategy, and helping secure new project opportunities.
- Manage project operations, including budgets, schedules, staffing, productivity, and profitability, while coordinating multidisciplinary work and advising teams across the organisation.
- Mentor, evaluate, and advance Civil/Site engineers.
- Approximate compensation range of: $185,000 - $235,000

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 12+ years of experience.
