We are partnered with a well-established and growing surveying and engineering firm in the Nashville market that is actively expanding due to a strong project backlog across multiple sectors. With continued investment in transportation, industrial, energy, and land development projects, they are looking to add a Professional Land Surveyor to support delivery and help scale operations. This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility role with flexible remote options and a clear path for professional advancement.

The Professional Land Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Leading and overseeing survey projects from initiation through final deliverables across transportation, commercial, residential, industrial, and energy sectors
  • Managing field and office survey teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of work
  • Reviewing plats, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking documentation
  • Coordinating with engineers, project managers, and clients to align scope, timelines, and expectations
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and regulatory requirements in Tennessee
  • Supporting business development efforts and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of the surveying team

The Professional Land Surveyor should have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional land surveying experience
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months
  • Strong experience with boundary, ALTA, and construction surveys
  • Proficiency with industry-standard survey software and data processing tools
  • Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate across multiple disciplines
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and internal teams
  • Knowledge of Tennessee surveying standards and regulations is preferred
