Field Engineer/Construction Surveyor Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring Field Engineers/Construction Surveyors in Nashville. Whether you are a traditional field engineer focused on layout and documentation or a survey professional with Leica robotic total station experience, we have a role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FIELD ENGINEER / CONSTRUCTION SURVEYOR

• Perform field layouts and construction surveys using Leica robotic total stations
• Lead survey teams as Party Chief or Crew Chief, assigning tasks and ensuring project milestones are met
• Process survey data and drawings using Carlson and AutoCAD
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
• Collaborate with project teams to solve field challenges and ensure accuracy
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; able to work at heights and lift up to 75 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a Field Engineer, Surveyor, Party Chief, or Crew Chief required
• Proficiency with Leica robotic total stations, Carlson, and AutoCAD required
• Strong understanding of construction surveying practices and principles
• Higher-level math skills including algebra and trigonometry
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
