Industrial Estimator – Food & Beverage Construction

Shape the Future of Food & Beverage Facilities Through Precision Estimating

Are you a detail-driven Estimator with a passion for complex industrial projects? Do you excel at breaking down structural, mechanical, and process systems into accurate, data-driven estimates that set projects up for success?

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Estimator who can bring expertise, accuracy, and insight to major food, beverage, and process-driven construction efforts. From stainless process piping to platforms, equipment installations, industrial ventilation, and high-intensity shutdown work—you'll help define the cost and execution strategy behind high-impact projects.

What You'll Do

Be the analytical engine behind major industrial projects:

  • Perform detailed takeoffs from structural, mechanical, P&, OEM, and process drawings.
  • Estimate structural steel, platforms, stainless and carbon piping, conveyor supports, fall protection, ventilation, dust collection, demolition, rigging, and shutdown labor.
  • Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates using established cost codes, labor factors, and historical data.
  • Validate quantities, durations, equipment needs, and constructability assumptions.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor proposals for completeness, risk, alignment with scope, and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Support proposal development, clarifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers during turnover to ensure alignment and execution readiness.

What You Bring

  • 5–15 years of industrial estimating experience.
  • Background in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or heavy mechanical construction.
  • Strong ability to interpret structural, mechanical, electrical, and P&.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong organizational habits.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related construction or technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with major food and industrial mechanical contractors.
  • Knowledge of USDA/FDA, sanitary construction standards, and CIP requirements.
  • Experience modeling shutdown labor, accelerated schedules, and premium work conditions.

Ready to Build the Estimates That Power the Industry's Most Critical Projects?

Bring your technical expertise, precision, and industrial construction knowledge—step into a role where your work directly shapes the success and profitability of large-scale food and beverage projects.
