* Position Summary:

** Responsible for construction execution from the bidding phase to delivery of a major highway project in the Greater Nashville area. The Environmental Compliance Project Director is assigned to one project and gathers a high level of technical expertise in environmental and ecological issues inside a heavy civil environment.
** Job Duties
*** Experience with Environmental inspections and/or management of Highway DOT Design Build Projects.
* Experience with obtaining or managing environmental government approvals, such as USACE 404 permits, NEPA Approvals, and TDEC ARAP/401 and Class V Underground Injection Control permits
* Lead, supervise and manage environmental aspects, such as water quality management, air quality management, and habitat protection, during the detailed design and construction
* Calculate environmental impact and track maintenance of Environmental Management Systems
* Prepare the technical documents for submission to the Owner in support of Owner lead permit applications and environmental approvals.
* Review the Environmental Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for accuracy and completeness of the different environmental measures executed in the Project (ie, OBF, Temporary BMPs, contaminated…
