Outback Presents has a unique opportunity for a music industry professional with event ticketing experience to join the nation’s leading independent events promoter as a Ticketing Manager. The Ticketing Manager will contribute to Outback Present’s growth by planning and executing ticketing setups and strategies for numerous live events in clubs, theaters, amphitheaters and arenas across various markets in the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the ticketing set up for a high volume of shows, tours, and festivals at once, managing varying timelines
- Communicate with venue box offices to provide clear and precise instruction for event ticketing setup
- Build and manage ticketing for events using Outback Presents’ in-house ticketing system, with occasional onsite box office work
- Work in conjunction with Outback Presents’ booking, production, and marketing teams to ensure proper set up of ticket builds, including pre-sales, holds, kills, comps, etc.
- Confirm all ticketing builds meet the target potential gross prior to going on sale
- Ensure all features of the ticketing platform in use are being utilized and capitalized to its full potential
- Conduct consistent analysis of ticket sales for on sale events to proactively identify and help resolve any issues
- Create and distribute regular ticketing reports internally to inform various teams about the status of events and provide recommendations where necessary
- Maintain internal database for venues including up-to-date seating charts
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in live event ticketing
- Strong understanding of concert promotion and the life cycle of an event
- Experience building reserved and general admission events on ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster / TM1)
- Experience communicating with venues, artist management, agents and other entertainment professionals
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite (drive, docs, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skill and exercise extreme attention to detail. Must be able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively work on multiple and various tasks at once
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- General knowledge of music, sports, theater, comedy, podcast and family events
- Occasional travel to events, as needed
- Must be willing to work on-site weekdays in the Nashville office. This is not a remote position.
